Chronic Fatigue / Fibromyalgia Syndrome

Fibromyalgia (FM) is defined as chronic, achy pain and stiffness in the soft tissue, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Chronic fatigue syndrome is characterized by incapacitating fatigue and problems with concentration and short-term memory. Both conditions can also be accompanied by a variety of other symptoms.

The cause of these disorders is unknown, although theories have included physical or emotional stress, inadequate quality sleep, trauma, infections, auto-immunity, cellular and metabolic dysfunction, problems with the immune and hormone systems and autonomic (involuntary) nervous system dysregulation.

Once an accurate diagnosis is made, treatment at KNC can include lifestyle and diet alterations, oral and intravenous nutritional therapies, Myo-fascial Trigger Point injections, Neural Therapy, Whole Body Hyperthermia, herbal/homeopathic medications, Oxygen/Oxidative modalities, Advanced Physical Therapy, Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy or some combination of the above.

Most cases of CFS and FM can be helped if motivation and perseverance is maintained and a whole body approach is taken.
